A collision creates immediate pressure. These early steps help protect your health, preserve evidence, and reduce avoidable disputes with an insurance carrier.

How we build the case

Insurance companies start immediately.
So do we.

A strong car accident claim is built through disciplined investigation, careful medical documentation, and a clear explanation of how the collision changed your life.

02
Analyze every insurance policyLiability coverage, full or limited tort, uninsured and underinsured motorist protection, and available benefits.
03
Document the full harmCurrent treatment, future care, lost earnings, diminished capacity, pain, and disruption to daily life.
04
Prepare for pressureA focused demand, strategic negotiation, and litigation readiness when the insurer will not act fairly.
Collision types

Every crash has a different story to prove.

We adapt the investigation to the vehicles, roadway, available insurance, injuries, and the people or companies responsible.

01

Rear-end collisions

Following distance, distraction, speed, braking data, and the progression of neck, back, or head injuries.

02

Intersection crashes

Signals, right-of-way, surveillance footage, sight lines, and witness accounts.

03

Highway & multi-vehicle crashes

Multiple impact sequences, commercial traffic, roadway conditions, and allocation of fault.

04

Distracted or impaired driving

Phone activity, toxicology evidence, driving conduct, and potential additional claims.

05

Uninsured drivers

Identifying UM/UIM coverage and every available path to financial recovery.

06

Rideshare & work vehicles

App status, employer responsibility, commercial policies, and overlapping coverage.

Compensation

The claim should reflect the whole loss.

The value of a case depends on its evidence and individual facts. We look beyond the first hospital bill to understand the complete financial and human impact.

Pennsylvania auto insurance

Full tort.
Limited tort.
Know the difference.

Your election can affect the damages available after a collision. Policy language, household coverage, the seriousness of the injury, and statutory exceptions all need individual review.

01

Full Tort

Generally preserves an unrestricted right to seek both economic losses and non-economic damages caused by another driver.

  • Medical and other out-of-pocket expenses
  • Lost income and future economic losses
  • Pain, suffering, and other non-economic harm
02

Limited Tort

Generally permits recovery of economic losses but restricts non-economic damages unless a serious-injury threshold or another exception applies.

  • Economic losses may still be recoverable
  • Serious-injury analysis is fact-specific
  • Statutory exceptions may restore full tort rights

Common questions

Answers before the next move.

These are general answers. A lawyer should review the policy, injuries, evidence, deadlines, and responsible parties in your specific collision.

Ask us directly →
01What should I do immediately after a car accident?

Call 911 when appropriate, seek medical care, exchange information, photograph the scene and vehicles, identify witnesses, and report the crash. Avoid guessing about fault or giving a recorded insurance statement before receiving legal advice.

02Should I speak with the other driver’s insurance company?

You may need to report basic information, but a recorded statement or broad medical authorization can create problems. An attorney can handle communications, provide the required information, and protect the record.

03Can I recover if I was partly at fault?

Pennsylvania uses modified comparative negligence. Recovery may still be available when your share of fault is not greater than the combined fault of the defendants, although the award is reduced by your percentage of responsibility.

04What if I selected limited tort?

Limited tort does not automatically mean there is no claim. Economic losses may still be available, and a serious injury or a statutory exception may permit non-economic damages. The policy and facts should be reviewed individually.

05How long do I have to file a claim?

Many Pennsylvania personal injury actions are subject to a two-year filing deadline, but exceptions and much shorter notice requirements can apply, especially in claims involving government entities. Prompt review protects the available options.

06How much does it cost to hire the firm?

Personal injury matters are generally handled on a contingency-fee basis. There is no initial consultation fee, and the attorney fee is paid from a successful recovery under the written agreement explained before representation begins.
